Hwb is S4C‘s new service for Welsh learners.
Steve Dimmick was asked to consult the creators of Hwb, Boomerang & Fflic, on the online marketing and social media techniques they were utilising to improve the online community and dialogue spawning from the show before, during and after it was broadcast (on a Sunday afternoon). Steve worked closely with the TV production and online delivery teams to ensure a complimentary set of online and mobile tools were used.
He also worked with the teams to devise new concepts for the show, such as releasing the theme tune as a ring tone. All of the work, by it’s very nature, was bilingual Welsh-English.
